Crews working on film, television, or commercial projects in the state can now view the listing directly on the coordinator site.

Spotlight on this 1985 Chevrolet C-10

The vehicle is a clean orange single cab truck with ghost flames on the hood. It features a 454 big block motor, automatic transmission, and two-door body style. The exterior is listed as orange and the interior as black. These details make the truck stand out in shots that need a distinctive 1980s pickup without additional modifications.

Producers looking at background or character vehicles will notice how the ghost flames and solid color scheme read clearly on camera. The single cab configuration keeps the focus on the driver and cab area during close-ups or tracking shots. Florida film car coordinators often search for trucks like this when a scene calls for an everyday work vehicle from that decade.

Picture Car Coordinator and the Florida Picture Car Market

Picture Car Coordinator connects productions with local vehicles through the USA Movie Cars network. This 1985 Chevrolet C-10 in Ocala, Florida, shows how the system brings state-level listings to a broader audience. USA Movie Cars works with state picture-car sites such as Florida Picture Cars to help productions find local picture vehicles more quickly.

Ocala sits in a central part of Florida that sees regular commercial and independent shoots. Having this truck listed locally reduces travel time for crews based in Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville. The coordinator site makes it simple to scan Florida picture car rental options and compare them with vehicles from other regions when a project requires specific era details.

History of the 1985 Chevrolet C-10

The Chevrolet C-10 name covered a long-running line of half-ton pickups that remained popular through the 1980s. By 1985 the model carried forward a square-body design that had become familiar on roads across the country. These trucks were common in both work and personal use, which is why they appear frequently in period productions set during that time.

The Custom Deluxe trim and single cab layout were standard choices for many buyers. A 454 big block engine option gave the truck strong performance for towing or hauling duties. Today the same body style and color combinations help set an authentic 1980s tone in establishing shots or background action without needing extensive set dressing.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

This truck works well for scenes set in the 1980s that require a working pickup as a character vehicle or background element. Its orange finish and ghost flames provide visual interest during daylight exterior shots or establishing views of rural or suburban settings. Productions filming in Florida can use the truck to add texture to street scenes or parking areas.

Still photography and music video shoots often need one or two period vehicles to anchor a location. The two-door cab and classic truck proportions give photographers clear lines to work with. Branded content and event displays also benefit from the truck’s straightforward appearance, letting it serve as a static prop or rolling element in short-form video.
